Oturehua to Wedderburn 12 km

We crossed the 45 deg south latitude  sign twice on this ride ..




Seagull Hill  Gangers shed was a great resting spot before the 400 metre ride to the Highest point on the trail

We all did enjoy a few klms of fast downhill run to Wedderburn though 



 Wedderburn  We have biked 78klms so far about half way

All finished for the day and our car is there to take us too Naseby Lodge about  20km away

We were meeting up with our friend Ruth ..she travelled from Christchurch to see us.





 We had a wonderful night at the lodges  2000ft restaurant, delicious meal,well deserved wine and beer, cosy fire,and great company

  1. Enjoyed a great night, with friends from ChCh, food was lovely,overall, a perfect stop,didn't think the Lovely Lady was going to make the highest point but she dug deep and with a bit of encouragement and shear willpower she done it
